Knowing how to sell yourself in an interview is not a skill that we get to practice very often. With over 25 years of recruiting experience, I have seen a lot of great people NOT get the job because they didn't present themselves well in the interview. So how do you get better at it? Role play/practice. If you have questions in particular you know that you need to practice we will go through them until they roll easily and sound authentic. If you aren't sure where you are getting stuck I will ask you the questions where most people get tripped up and help you come out sounding like the professional you are. This is not a session where we have the liberty of giving super soft advice or being scared to make mistakes. We are going to get in there, make the mistakes and practice until it's muscle memory for you. That way when you are in the interview it doesn't sound like it's been rehearsed and inauthentic. Rehearsing and practicing your interview skills is one of the most important and beneficial things you can do to improve your chances of landing your next role.
